울진 화재난 도살장의 한 켠. 사이 좋은 부부 누렁이가 있었습니다. 언제부터 도살장에 있었는지는 알 수 없으나, 이들이 있는 뜬장은 너무나 오래 되어 문이 반이 뚫려 있을 정도였습니다.
한 번도 땅이란 걸 밟아보지 못한 누렁이들은 뜬장 밖을 나와 본 적 없는 누렁이들은 자기 몸 보다 더 큰 구멍으로 충분히 나올 수 있었지만 나올 생각조차 하지 않았습니다. 그 상태에서 아기들이 태어났고 뜬장 아래로 빠져 그만 죽고 말았습니다.
도살장의 열악한 환경은 아기들이 태어나자마자 죽어가게 한 원인이기도 했습니다. 살아남은 아기 둘. 요미와 랑이…. 랑이는 미국으로 입양을 갔고 이제 남은 동생 요미도 입양을 준비하며 한국의 임보자님 댁에서 무럭 무럭 자라고 있습니다. 오늘, 요미의 모습을 보아 주세요. 요미의 해외 입양 가는 경비를 도움주실 분들은 아래 👇요미를 응원해 주세요!

A story of Yomi the Tosa
In the corner of the slaughterhouse that had been burned from wildfire in Uljin, there was a couple of Tosa dogs trapped in a hanging wire cage.
No one knew how long they had been trapped in there but anyone could infer that the wire cage was there for a very long time. It was so old that there was a bigger hole in the door of the wire cage than a fully grown Tosa dog.
But these Tosas had never laid their steps on the ground, never been outside of that small cage; they couldn’t think of an idea of going outside of the cage through that big hole. Under these difficult circumstances, the mother gave birth to puppies.
Most of the puppies fell through the space between bars and died. Only two survived: Rang-I and Yomi. And fortunately both grew up safely after being rescued. Rang-I went to the United States for adoption, and her little sister, Yomi, is getting ready in her foster home.
