생매장 돼지 동영상-이스라엘 Let the Animals Live가 한국대사에게 항의!

 

 

 

이스라엘 Let the Animals Live라는 협회에서 ‘동물사랑실천협회’가 Youtube에 올려놓은

‘생매장 돼지들의 절규’ 동영상을 보고

주 이스라엘 대한민국 대사에게 항의 서안을 보냈습니다.

 

편지의 내용은 이런 용납할 수 없는 방법의 죽음과

OIE (국제수역사무국)등의 국제 규정에 위배되는 행위를 규탄한다는 것입니다!

Re: Cruel killing of pigs in Korea

 

Let the Animals Live is a leading animal protection organization in Israel. We have been involved in animal protection campaigns locally and internationally since the1980s.

 

We were appalled by the lately released footage of pigs killed for “disease control” in Korea. The footage shows heavy machinery pushing pigs into a deep pit. In the pit they get piled one over the other, struggling for air and screaming. Eventually they are buried alive.

 

This is a totally unacceptable way of killing, and is in violation of internationally accepted standards such as the OIE’s.

Such cruelty has no place within civilized nations.

 

Please communicate our protest to your government.

 

Please let us know what steps your government took to punish whoever was responsible to this atrocity and to assure that such acts will not happen again.

이 영상은 현재 전세계로 계속 확산되고 있어

한국의 비인도적인 동물생매장에 대해 규탄항의가 이어지고 있습니다.

 

이에 대해 우리나라 정부는 반드시 책임을 져야 할 것이며 앞으로는 OIE 국제 규정을 어기지 않도록  전국 지자체 별 엄격한 지침마련과 함께 엄격한 감독이 이루어지도록 해야 합니다.

 

동물사랑실천협회는 이 문제에 대해 지속적으로 감시활동을 벌여

국내에서 반드시 살처분 방법이 개선될 수 있도록 노력을 아끼지 않을 것입니다.
